CNET press

Words are escaping me right now. I’m sure you’ve already heard at this point about James Kim. I’m at CNET to pick Veronica up. None of this feels real, and all I can think of is how we can help the Kims. The media is outside in droves, but they’re being respectful and staying out in the courtyard. What an awful, awful day.

  1. I know - I just heard a few minutes ago and haven’t really been able to catch my breath. I really thought there would be a better outcome.

Let us know if a fund or something is put together.

  2. It seemed possible. A disgraceful event with a positive outcome, which would have James telling his survival adventure to his grandsons. It’s so sad that the end turned to this.
    Take care,
    Jorge.

  3. I’m still in shock, just totally stunned. I’m sure there will be a fund, and when it’s together we’ll be there to donate.

there’s a fund. Trust me, these are no replacement for such a great person, but they help the family immensely.

  5. He is a hero. I’m very saddened over this, as I’ve enjoyed watching him on The Crave and other Cnet postings. He was an amazing person, who many people loved, and i’ll miss hearing from him. I think a lot of people will.

It’s such a sad, profound story. From the very first Digg submission about how his family went missing, I’ve been following this story very closely. Waking up every day to see if there has been an update or if anything has happened. I was absolutely crushed when I saw the post that he had left us. My heart dropped.

I will continue to have the Kim family in my thoughts and prayers. And I hope you two are also coping well with all of this. It’s surreal. We love you James, you will be missed by many.
